October 29, 2025 – Nashville International Airport isn’t just adding…it’s multiplying.

On Monday, Nashville International Airport – BNA announced a massive second terminal project spanning more than 300 acres. The expansion will include five new concourses, doubling the airport’s total to 10, all built directly alongside the current terminal.

“This adjacent location allows us to plan entirely from the ground up without disrupting current traffic patterns or traffic flow, ”Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority CEO Douglas Kreulen said in the announcement.

“Nashville – a city of rhythm, growth and bold dreams. And at the heart of it all, Nashville International Airport is soaring to meet the moment,” country music star Trace Adkins said in the announcement.

This marks the latest phase planned for Nashville International Airport’s continued growth. The expansion of Concourse D was completed over the summer and Concourse A is currently undergoing a full renovation, which comes as Nashville has expanded international service to Europe and Canada across several airlines.

“What does our community want? Ease of transportation, beautiful art, the ability to flow in and out in a seamless travel experience,” Kreulen said. “I’m extremely confident that we can continue to exceed the demands of our travelers.”

Adkins added: “We’ve set a new standard with this expansion: Built for today, with tomorrow in mind…and we’re not done.”

The Nashville Stars Baseball Club are proud to see that BNA is growing to support our record-setting visitor totals, because they’ll only continue to grow, especially when the Stars are in town.
