October 22, 2025 – This weekend is shaping up to be one of the biggest of the year for the sports scene in Nashville! ESPN will host its weekly College GameDay show on Saturday morning from the campus of Vanderbilt University, which will feature Nashville resident and Stars Strategic Advisor Kirk Herbstreit, who has been an analyst on the show since 1996.
Drawing GameDay’s attention is the success of the Vanderbilt Commodores, who enter Week 9 ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press poll with a 6-1 record. They’ll host No. 16 Missouri on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT.
Herbstreit has been a member of our team as we map out our plan for bringing the Stars to Music City and sharing the experience of Major League Baseball with our residents and visitors.
